West LA pays tribute to Jacko (the scene outside the hospital)

Helicopters buzzing over head, hundreds of cops, and twice as many reporters.  This was the scene outside of Ronald Regan UCLA Hospital.  News trucks lined the streets as thousands gathered outside the place where the King of Pop rests for the time being.  Flipping through all my stored radio stations four out of the six stations are playing Michael.  The music world has truly lost an Icon.

Looking on twitter, facebook, myspace, and google the word spread fast.  First it was a heart attack then it was confirmed.  The King of Pop died at the age of fifty from a heart attack.  The last time we have seen a media frenzy over a death like this was Princess Diana.  Michael Jackson is up there with Elvis, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, and all the former great musicians who have passed.  He has inspired so many and will be missed.  Below are some pictures I was able to get of the scene outside the hospital with everyone paying tribute to the King of Pop.
